Item Information
This is used in excellent condition. Guaranteed to pass self test. A manual is included, but not a power adapter. The unit uses 6 'C' batteries. Good batteries will be included. This model includes the TDR and Wide Band option as further explained below.

Features:

The C9925 Network Access Analyzer is a multiple function, portable, battery powered telephone cable test set housed in a rugged, weather resistant case and equipped with a versatile, highly functional carrying bag. The base unit provides AC and DC parametric (physical) and transmission testing on physical copper pairs, with fault detection, analysis, and location capabilities.

TDR Option:

The TDR option enables the analyze to preform fault location via the Time Domain Reflectometer Center Slice / Software Package. This function is highly complementary to the existing Opens, Splits, Load Coil and Resistive Fault Location (RFL) functions in the base unit, providing a confirmation of those test results in many cases. In addition, the TDR function allows precise location of bridge taps, poor splice joints, water damage, and load coil distance, which are difficult (if not impossible) to achieve in the frequency domain alone.

Wide Band Option:

This option allows loop qualification testing for several common wideband digital service types, or a user-defined custom service type. Qualification is based on comparing the insertion loss of the loop at a specific frequency to the maximum allowable industry-standard loss for the requested service type.

Additional features:

- "Dirty" and "partial" opens measurement and location
- Multiple splits measurement and location
- High-voltage "soak" test
- Transmission tests to 20kHz
- Metallic noise and power influence measurement
- Caller I.D. and Automatic Number Identification (ANI) tests
- Distance to load and load coil count
- Resistance fault location (RFL)
- AC / DC voltage, DC loop current
- Capacitive length and resistive fault analysis
- Tracing and high-level fault location tones
- Spare and working pair diagnostic macros
- Center-slice functional expansion capability
