Recently Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis both issued shelter in place orders to slow the spread of COVID-19. This order is currently in effect through the end of April. Essential businesses have been encouraged to remain open and help support other essential businesses and infrastructure. As outlined by their executive orders we are an essential business and the PCLiquidations Florida distribution center will remain open and continue to supply computer and telecommunications devices. We are happy to be able to continue to support all the industries in need of telecom and IT hardware.
We are still shipping products according to schedule. Please be aware that transit times may be longer than normal. Effective March 24, 2020 and until further notice, UPS has suspended its Service Guarantee at any service level.
Since mid-March all PCLiquidations employees that could fulfill their job responsibilities at home have been doing so. Our phone and live chat support is all being supported by work from home employees. In order to keep our on-site employees as safe as possible we have been practicing COVID-19 preventative care steps outlined by the World Health Organization.
We have been making sure the workplace is clean and hygienic by regularly disinfecting desks, computers, work areas, and any commonly touched surfaces. We have mandatory handwashing throughout the day, and we have hand sanitizer available throughout our facility. We have closed the offices to any unnecessary guests and are holding most incoming freight for 3 days before processing. We are practicing self-distancing and have been encouraging outdoor meetings. Our executive team is meeting daily to review the latest guidance and go over health and safety best practices.
We thank you for your continued business. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at 888-654-3376. We wish you all to be safe and healthy!
