Overall Responsibility

As the Distribution Center Manager of Inventory Control, you will have the opportunity to lead in company growth, not only through leading inventory accuracy systems but also through inspiring others, and our continuous improvement process. You will primarily be responsible for overall leadership of the Inventory and Receiving procedures, by directly overseeing inventory control teams, processes, and distribution center functions. You will also have the opportunity to be part of a leading company that provides a multitude of unique services, including; selling new and refurbished terminals, printers, phones, phone systems, telecommunications equipment, personal computers, and peripherals, as well as IT Asset Disposition (ITAD).

Main Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops and implements improvements to maximize operating productivity, quality, and efficiency of inventory control methods in a manner consistent with company objectives
  • Oversees and manages inventory control operations ensuring that the perpetual inventory system is maintained and accurate at all times
  • Coordinate inventory control functions including receiving inventory into the facility, accurately inputting data into the inventory system, ensuring accuracy of inventory counts, implementation of inventory control methods and procedures
  • Coach teams in delivering higher level accountability for process accuracy, and inventory procedure compliance
  • Prepares, schedules, and conducts inventory planning and execution, working with operations to ensure all products are well organized, adequately labeled and maintained
  • Supervise team in company culture, guidelines, process enhancements, and technical applications
  • Supervises assigned employees including staff selection and training, planning, assigning and directing work, conducting performance reviews, rewarding and disciplining employees, as well as addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Provide consultation to company leadership and teams regarding inventory processes, controls and advancements
  • Develops and maintains quality control programs to ensure each inventory adjustment is consistent with company standards including researching and finding root causes of inaccuracies and discrepancies
  • Proactively determine needs of Teams and Team Members to effectively boost morale and create a positive environment
  • Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices and ensures that employees observe all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injuries or damage; schedules periodic safety meetings and solicits recommended changes to improve safety procedures
  • Positively assist Management in creating, implementing, and adhering to overall strategies for the company
  • Determine, Delegate, Execute and follow-up on team assignments as well as additional tasks assigned by Management

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
